WRITER DIRECTOR PRODUCER
Emmie Lichtenberg (she/her) is a writer, director and producer who has collaborated with partners such as Netflix, Greenwich Films, MTV, Apple, and Temple Hill Entertainment throughout her career. 2019 saw the release of Netflix Original Series I’m with the Band: Nasty Cherry, in which Emmie served as Executive Producer. Next she went on to Produce the feature documentary Charli XCX: Alone Together, which received an international distribution deal with Greenwich Films after a closing night premiere at SXSW 2021 and is currently streaming on Hulu. In Spring 2023, Emmie wrapped production on her directorial debut, COMPLICATED ORDER starring Midori Francis, Heather Matarazzo and ALOK— the short film premiered July 2023 at Outfest and can be seen on the 2023-2024 festival circuit. Currently, Emmie works in development at WBTV under Showrunner Natalie Chaidez (The Flight Attendant.)
She identifies as a “Queer late bloomer who owns a Ouija Board.” Emmie received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Vassar College and currently lives in Los Angeles.
